A MIRFIELD girl battling kidney cancer is seen meeting her TV idol.

Hannah Hatfield, four, met her favourite TV character, Angelina Ballerina, in London.

Angelina is a cartoon dancer mouse, created by HIT Entertainment.

Hannah, who suffers from the rare Wilm's Tumour illness, was whisked to London with parents Paul and Cheryl by the Make-A-Wish Foundation UK, a charity which makes dreams come true for children with life-threatening diseases.

They spent two nights in the Carlton Towers Hotel and saw West End show The Snowman.

Hannah then visited Santa in Harrods and the family watched the English National Ballet's final rehearsals for The Nutcracker and Cinderella at the Hammersmith Carling Apollo.

Hannah met guest dancers Thomas Edur and Agnes Oaks and was given pair of signed ballet shoes.

Then, finally, it was time to meet her TV heroine.

Hannah showed Angelina some of her own dance steps and presented her with some flowers.

In turn, Angelina presented Hannah with Angelina Ballerina gifts, courtesy of Mitrefinch of York.
