STAFF at a Huddersfield company have raised £320 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society by having a cake break.
The staff at Proplas Plastic Ltd, in Folly Hall, raised £160 and this was doubled by the company.
Organiser Louise Moran said: " I would like to thank everyone who supported the event. The cakes were delicious and the guests were very generous."
The event is staged annually by the MS Society and this year hopes to attract more than 500,000 cake eaters nationwide.
Money raised supports the society's nurses fund and medical research programmes and provides local services, including some in Huddersfield.
