A FREE recruitment event for people interested in a career in brickwork will take place in Huddersfield tomorrow.
The event, at the Hudawi Centre from 2pm, is open to all unemployed Kirklees residents who want to achieve a brickwork qualification.
It is being organised by Build – a local purchasing and local labour initiative for the construction industry in Kirklees.
It is offering the training opportunity through the B-best project, which is funded by Yorkshire Forward through the Kirklees Skills Investment Plan.
Clr Peter McBride, Cabinet member for Regeneration, said: “The council is very pleased to be able to offer this free course.”
