A LINGERIE shop in Brighouse will soon relocate.
Brief Encounter, currently based at West Park Street, will move into a more prominent position on Bradford Road in the town centre.
Susan Bellamy, who runs Brief Encounters, said: “I’ve got the shop already and it’s being fitted out and I’m hoping to move in by the end of September.
“I’ve been here for seven years now and I’m the only one left in this building, the shop on Bradford Road has a better profile.”
She has applied to Calderdale Council for permission for signage for the listed building and it’s going through the planning process.
The application is for 3 Bradford Road, beneath Brighouse Civic Hall. It was previously VS Cycles, which has relocated to another part of Bradford Road in Brighouse.
