WORKERS in Huddersfield have been urged to scale the heights to help the British Heart Foundation.

The national charity is seeking teams to climb Britain’s three highest peaks in just one weekend or tackle Yorkshire’s three highest peaks in a single day.

Teams from companies can take their walking to new heights by climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon on the weekend of July 4 and 5 or teams can tackle the less demanding challenge of scaling Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in Yorkshire on July 25.

Britain’s Biggest Mountain Challenge costs £35 per person, call 0800 0852280 or visit bhf.org.uk/bbmc and the Yorkshire Three Peaks event costs £15 per person. Call 0800 0852280 or visit bhf.org.uk/yorkshire.
