ROCKER Bryan Adams is starting a new tour - of Huddersfield!
The Canadian superstar, due at the Galpharm Stadium next month, has hit town already. Or at least a life-sized version has!
Promotions staff from the stadium are taking the cutout figure on a tour of the town in the coming weeks to promote the big rock concert, which takes place on June 1. The cutout is seen with Linda Myers (left) and Anna Young.
Adams, who appeared at the stadium for a sell-out concert a decade ago, will be supported by singer Beverley Knight.
Now the cutout will be on show in venues as diverse as Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda supermarkets, the Odeon Cinema, the Showcase Cinema at Birstall and Huddersfield University.
"We can't get Bryan himself here until June so this is the next best thing", said Linda, of the stadium team.
Tickets for the concert are available from the stadium.
