A BURST pipe flooded part of a sheltered housing complex in Marsden last night.
Firefighters from Slaithwaite spent more than an hour helping staff and residents at Wessen Court in Towngate to mop up.
They were called to the building, which is run by Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing, at about 10pm after water flooded corridors.
Firefighters said about eight residents had to be moved temporarily out of their homes because corridors were under about two inches of water.
