A BUS driver was attacked by a gang who then robbed him.
The driver stopped on New Hey Road in Oakes to let the gang of youths get on at 7.40pm on Friday.
But one then argued with the driver and hit him.
Two others joined the attack and in the fracas the original attacker stole the driver's cash box.
The main attacker is an African-Caribbean youth aged 16 to 18, about 5ft 10ins tall and wearing a red and white baseball cap and dark clothes. He had a stud in his left ear.
Two of the other attackers were also African Caribbean youths.
