A JAM-PACKED programme of activities for everyone is being laid on at Cannon Hall museum, park and gardens, Cawthorne.

Families can join "Miss Wilson" the housekeeper next Sunday as she takes visitors on a tour of the hall, above and below stairs.

Tours are free and take place at 1pm and 3pm.

Sessions on how to make a Chirpy Easter Chick Card will be held on Wednesday, March 23. The family workshop costs £1 a child and sessions are at 10.30am, 11.30am, 1pm and 2pm.

A bread and butter workshop will take place in the Victorian kitchens on Thursday, March 24. Sessions begin at 11am and 2pm and cost £2.50 a child. Pre-booking is essential.

Activities on Easter Saturday include cookery and crafts from noon to 2pm. The activities cost £5 per child, with accompanying adults free. Pre-booking is vital.

A craft fair staged by the Northern Arts and Crafts Guild will be held on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, from 10.30am to 4.30pm.

There will also be a prize Easter egg hunt in the hall for families.

Lessons on how to make a paper windmill on a stick are on Wednesday, March 30.
