A COUNTRY butcher has won top marks.
Brindon Addy, whose shop is in Hade Edge, above Holmfirth, was given A grades for quality and hygiene after an inspection by the European Food Safety Inspection Service.
The business also won maximum marks for hygiene in the Kirklees Council Scores on the Doors scheme.
Mr Addy said: “These achievements would not have been possible without the sustained efforts of our staff in helping to maintain the business to extremely high standards.”
Mr Addy has also just opened a shop in the Manna Food Hall at The Mill on Bradford Road, Batley.
