STOCKSMOOR’S Calendar Girls have raised more than £2,000 for charity.
They handed over the money at a celebration dinner and presentation evening held at Castle View Guest House, Almondbury.
The money was shared out between Kirkwood Hospice, at Dalton, and the local Group B Strep Support charities.
The money came from the proceeds raised by Stocksmoor Women’s Institute from the sale of their 2009 Calendar Girls calendar.
