ORGANISERS of a Huddersfield gala day are searching for the winners of a prize draw held at the event.

The gala day was held at Beaumont Park on September 4.

Programmes were given to the 3,000 people who attended the event and each had a number linked to a prize draw.

The winners were announced - however, 12 people have yet to claim their prizes.

The prizes include dinner for two at CragRats Brasserie in Hepworth, a signed print by Holmfirth artist Ashley Jackson and tickets to Camelot theme park.

Andrew Kitchen, of event organisers Friends of Beaumont Park, said: "We are keen to see every prize go to a good home."

The winning numbers are: 41, 56, 134, 162, 201, 262, 278, 297, 309, 378, 435 and 497.

Prizes must be claimed by September 30.

The £2,000 profit made at the gala will go towards the regeneration of the Grade II listed Victorian park.

The improvements are being spear- headed by Friends of Beaumont Park community group.

So far, an audit of the landscape, birdlife and trees at the 29-acre park have been completed and a restoration plan is being drawn up.
