CHARITY shops are urging people not to hide their unwanted Christmas presents.
Cancer Research UK in Huddersfield has opened its doors to anyone who wants to donate gifts that just weren’t for them.
Shop manager Janet Ryan said: “At Christmas we all receive presents that aren’t quite what we had in mind.
“We generally end up hiding these items away, rather than admitting they are not what we would have chosen.
“In donating them to us you are raising money for a great cause so there is no need to feel guilty.”
To donate to Cancer Research UK simply take your stuff to the Ramsden Street shop.
