A MAN has walked away unhurt after rolling his car on a busy Huddersfield road this morning.

The black Hyundai car ended up on its roof at Somerset Road, Almondbury after the driver lost control at 11.40am.

And the Examiner understands the vehicle slid onto the pavement just a few metres from where a man and two children were standing.

Huddersfield firefighters were called to the incident, close to the allotments at the junction of Martin Bank Road, but were not needed as the driver had climbed out of the upside down vehicle unaided.
