THE final summer session of Car Park Cricket takes place in Huddersfield next weekend.

Youngsters living in the Marsh area will be invited to have a go at the game in the Co-operative store car park on Sunday, starting at 5pm.

It is a game designed to introduce youngsters in urban areas to a simple form of cricket.

A full programme of events for 2010, which will provide children with up to 20 Sunday evenings of cricket training in car parks around Kirklees, will be confirmed shortly.

The game is aimed at children aged from five to 11 and sessions are free.
