CHRISTMAS may be over - but festive cheer is still present at Huddersfield Children's Library, thanks to pupils from a local language school.

Christmas cards designed by pupils from Bonjour/Buenos Dias are on display in the library.

A Christmas card competition is held every year by Bonjour/Buenos Dias - a private language school that teaches pupils aged from three up to adulthood.

The school, based in Marsh, gives lessons on a peripatetic basis - meaning teachers travel to see pupils.

There were two categories in the competition - one for under sevens and one for those aged seven and over.

Three winners were chosen from each category. They received books, videos and cassettes at a presentation on December 22 at the children's library.
