HUDDERSFIELD Grammar School successes were celebrated at a prize evening.

Joint head Joyce Jackson said: "We are firmly established as one of the leading independent schools, locally and nationally."

The 10th annual prizegiving was at Huddersfield Town Hall.

Pupils raised £3,500 over the last 12 months for a variety of charities, including Sport Relief, Kirkwood Hospice and Huddersfield Children's Diabetic Society.
