FANS of the popular Japanese cartoon-style Manga were invited to explore their creative side at the weekend with a special workshop at Huddersfield Library.
The introductory workshop was led by artist Suzanne Lam, who is an award-winning Manga cartoonist.
Although she was born in Manchester and has Chinese parents, Suzanne (Chinese name Sau San) was brought up in West Yorkshire.
She became interested in Manga through watching Japanese animated cartoons when she was a child.
The workshop, held on Saturday afternoon between 1pm and 3pm, was specifically aimed at teenagers, although anyone was welcome to join in.
It was a great hit with the youngsters as they got down to work with artists Andrew Walker and Rory Little.
