A CASE against a man was adjourned because a court didn’t have the right information on him.

Bobby Anderson, 23, was before Kirklees magistrates yesterday.

He is accused of driving whilst unfit through drink, using a vehicle without insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

The alleged offences took place at Leeds Road, Mirfield, on December 23.

However, the Huddersfield bench was told that police had provided the prosecution and defence with a charge sheet for a different person.

Magistrates agreed to adjourn Anderson’s case until today when he is due in court for a different matter. They granted unconditional bail for Anderson, of King Street in Heckmondwike.
