COMPUTER users are being urged to give empty printer cartridges to Holmfirth charity fundraisers instead of binning them.

Old mobile phones are also needed by the supporters of Macmillan Cancer Relief.

An office products re- cycling firm has joined forces with the charity's Holmfirth branch and will pay top prices for used printer cartridges, toner and inkjet cartridges and unwanted mobile phones.

As much as £4 can go to the charity from each cartridge.

Mobile phones should be in working order with chargers and batteries, but sim cards should be removed.

Items should be delivered to Holmfirth Civic Hall on the first Monday each month (except bank holidays), between 7pm and 9pm, or ring Bob Riley, treasurer of the Holmfirth committee, on 01484 683211.
