Artistic cash

KIRKLEES Council and a Huddersfield theatre company have won almost £90,000 in the latest wave of Arts Council grants. The council was awarded £72,890 to help ethnic minority arts groups to develop and for their leaders to improve their management skills. Proper Job Theatre Company was given £15,000 to produce and tour with two new performances featuring young actors from ethnic minorities. The money is part of £559,164 in grants across Yorkshire.
