CALDERDALE schools are getting Government cash to stop parents ferrying pupils by car. The money will be used to come up with plans including space for storing cycles. Also, shelters could be built for parents who walk to school to collect their children. Among the schools are St John's Primary at Clifton (£5,081), St Joseph's Primary at Hove Edge, Brighouse (£5,393), Carr Green Junior and Infant, Rastrick (£5,535), Field Lane Primary, Rastrick (£4,540), Holywell Green Primary (£5,100) and Brooksbank, Elland (£12,905).
