A HOLMFIRTH woman came up with a pithy phrase to win £15,000 in a national competition.
Linda Shaw won the cash after taking part in the contest during a visit to the Abbey - formerly Abbey National bank - at King Street, Huddersfield.
Customers opening new accounts were invited to take part by filling in a form and stating what they would do with the winnings.
Ms Shaw won with her phrase: "I would like to win a pot of gold and buy new instead of old."
Ms Shaw said: "Entering competitions is not something I do regularly. I just put it down and put it in the box."
