TALENTED school children took to the stage as part of an arts festival.
The Rastrick Schools Diamond Jubilee Arts Festival gala concert was a creative collaboration between the Rastrick Family of Schools and it took place at Rastrick High School. It featured music and dance items from Carr Green, Castlefields, Field Lane, Longroyde and Woodhouse Primary Schools with Key Stage 3 students from Rastrick High School.
Arts Festival Co-ordinator Maggie Binns, said: “It has been a delight to experience the wealth of talent that we have in the Rastrick schools. Across the festival, the children have given us their very best in music, art and creative writing and the concert showed how truly talented they are.”
The Mayor and Mayoress of Calderdale, Clr John Hardy and wife Janet, joined pupils, parents and teachers.
