TV celebrity Kerry Katona partied in Huddersfield.
The reality TV star was in town to meet her new business partners at the Popkidz party venue in Marsh.
And she delighted fans and staff by taking a stint on the DJ decks at the party venue.
The award-winning children’s party venue in Huddersfield teamed up with Kerry last month in a new business venture.
The former member of girl band Atomic Kitten has taken a stake in Popkidz and Club Fusion at Marsh after one of her friends attended a party at the Westbourne Road premises and told her how impressed she was.
Now PopKidz and Club Fusion has also opened a site in Halifax and has unveiled plans to expand even further by franchising the successful concept. The first franchise is already up and running in Wakefield.
The business was launched in 2010 by husband and wife Ijaz Khaliq and Victoria Allen as a purpose-designed party venue for children of all ages.
Kerry visited the Marsh club to get more of an insight of how everything works at the venue.
She had a meeting with owners Aj and Victoria regarding how the business franchise is going to move forward, but it wasn’t all business as she also met all the Popkidz team who were so excited to meet her.
Kerry fans also turned up to get a chance of a photo and autograph and in the end it turned in to a bit of a party with Kerry at the DJ decks playing the music and the crowd bouncing on the dance floor.
She said: “I had a great day, getting to know how the party concept works and we had a look at all the venues.
“I met all the staff, they have a great team they have so much enthusiasm, they love what they do and it shows, you can see why it’s so successful.
“We will be launching the franchise this week”.
