They say it's the most important meal of the day - and when it comes to what to have for breakfast, you're spoilt for choice.

There are a myriad of cereals on the supermarket shelves for you to choose from - from cornflakes to Frosties, Weetabix to muesli and more.

We've examined the fat and sugar content of all the breakfast cereals on offer at Tesco, both popular brand names and Tesco's own products.

Do you know how much sugar and fat is in your cereal bowl on a morning?

Take our quiz to test to see if you're sugar savvy

Question -1 of 15Score -0 of 0
Which of these has the most sugar per serving?

Unsurprisingly, cereals with 'chocolate' in their titles tend to have the highest fat and sugar content - Kellogg's Crunchy Nut Chocolate has 22g of sugar and 7g of fat per serving, for example.

The healthiest cereal option was found to be Ready Brek and Tesco's own brand of microwave porridge, and Weetabix (both the branded cereal and Tesco's equivalent product) was found to be low in sugar and fat - just 1-2gs of each per serving.

How does your favourite cereal fare? Why not take a look at the box?

Were you surprised, or are you cereal-savvy?
