MORE woman in Yorkshire are having cervical screening.
A report has shown that the number of eligible women undergoing cervical screening across the UK has increased by around 400,000 in 2008-09.
The report also shows how NHS trusts across the region are excelling in cervical screening, with the region boasting the highest proportion of test results (available within four weeks) across the country – at 91.3%.
