BUDDING bards can try their hand at poetry at a series of summer workshops.
Kirklees Council is hosting What’s In The Box poetry workshops on July 30 at Birstall Library, from 10am to 11.30am, on July 31 at Heckmondwike Library from 2pm to 3.30pm and on August 7 at Cleckheaton Library from 2pm to 3.30pm.
The workshops are free but booking is essential.
Children aged seven and over can take part, but those under eight will need supervision.
They will delve into a box of mystery objects and use those they pick to inspire their verse.
