WORLD-CLASS boxer Paul 'Silky' Jones is in Huddersfield next week.
And members of the public are being given the chance to step in the ring with him.
Jones, a one-time world light-middle-weight champion is visiting Rawthorpe Amateur Boxing Club at the Gas Club off Leeds Road, Hillhouse, on Tuesday.
The event has been organised to raise money for the Danny Scott Appeal.
The 23-year-old from Marsh was left paralysed while playing rugby league for Moldgreen.
Jones will be showing off his boxing skills and chatting to visitors.
Mums, dads, sisters, aunts, uncles and even grandads are invited to don a pair of gloves and find out what it's like in a boxing ring.
Those brave enough will be able to spar with Jones, a boxing coach or club boxer. The two sessions run between 5pm and 6pm and 6.30pm and 7.30pm.
