TWENTY rare Huddersfield Town programmes go under the hammer tomorrow.
The programmes, dating back to the 1920s, are expected to fetch almost £1,600 at an auction at Bonhams in Chester.
The auction sale is for football memorabilia.
The Town programmes will be sold in 11 lots and the most valuable could fetch £150.
The oldest ones are for games against Preston North End and Newcastle United in the 1920-1921 season.
Two others are from the Charity Cup games against Glasgow Rangers (1926-1927) and Motherwell (1928-1929).
A spokesman for Bonhams said: "Pre-war football programmes, in very good or fine condition, are rare and are sought after by serious collectors. They are increasing in value".
* A world record price for a programme was set last year.
A bidder paid £14,400 for a 1901 FA Cup Final programme featuring Sheffield United and Spurs.
