Start them young. Kids will be more adventurous with different tastes the younger they are.
Pick the right time. Get them when they’re at their hungriest – usually when they’ve just got back from school. Instead of crisps before tea, have some fruit and veg chopped or a small box of raisins.
Invite over a school friend who eats everything! Kids copy one another, so if their friend happily tucks into spinach, chances are they’ll give it a go.
Don’t overcook veg. Kids hate soggy food. Light steaming retains more vitamins than boiling for ages.
Present food in a fun way. Turn chopped fruit into a smiley clown face or veg into an animal shape.
