A KIRKLEES charity is in urgent need of new stock.

Kirkwood Hospice, which has 17 charity shops, is running low on stocks of quality ladies clothing, shoes and handbags.

As the recession continues, more people are turning to charity shops to find a bargain.

But this increased demand means that more and more donations are needed.

Now the Hospice, which cares for people facing life-threatening illness, is appealing for people to clean out their wardrobes and cupboards.

Donations can be dropped off at their local charity shop.

The charity can arrange for larger items to be picked up from people’s home free of charge.

To arrange a pick-up call the Hospice reception on 01484 557900.
