A HONLEY woman put on her walking boots to complete a mountain mission for charity. Mel White, 32, braved a height of 4,406 feet when she climbed the UK's highest mountain, Ben Nevis, in Scotland, last weekend. The mother-of-two took on the challenge to raise money for Breast Cancer Care. Mel, of Croft Drive, Honley, raised more than £600. She said: "I really enjoyed it but my legs are still aching. It was a great way to raise money for such a good cause." She decided to take part in the walk after completing the 5km Race For Life in June.
