AN all-girl singing group will be wowing shoppers at the Trafford Centre to raise funds for charity.

The Charity Dreamgirls – Huddersfield-based Kate Hardcastle and friends Kate Peters, from Leeds, and Hannah Cygan-Wrobleski, of Nottingham – will perform live on Saturday, May 1, and Sunday, May 2, at the Manchester retail complex.

Charities to benefit will be the Leonard Cheshire Disability and the Retail Trust, which helps shopworkers facing hard times.

They will be accompanied by a 12-piece professional band and will give three performances each day – at noon, 2pm and 4pm.

The Charity Dreamgirls have worked alongside stars including Candi Station, JLS, Alexandra Burke, Michael McDonald, Smokey Robinson, Alexander O’Neal and Jaki Graham.

They have also worked with Andrew Lloyd Webber and have been Stars of the Week on Paul O’Grady’s Radio 2 show.

The Charity Dreamgirls also host fundraising events throughout Yorkshire and the north-west – most recently staging a “posh” jumble sale in Brighouse.
