A CHARITY concert in Holmfirth has raised £2,120 for victims of the Asian tsunami disaster.
The event took place at the Picturedome cinema in Holmfirth.
It featured six local bands - ska punk outfit Mr Shiraz, rock bands The Prototypes and Smooth, punk rockers Mary Jane, metal band Burden of Reality, and Accolade.
Holmfirth man Nigel Hinchliffe acted as compere for the event.
The bands performed for free and the venue, raffle prizes, sound and lighting system and publicity materials were all donated free of charge.
All the cash raised went to Unicef, which is working on long-term projects to help the tsunami victims.
The organisers wish to thank everyone who supported the event.
