A FAMILY race night is to raise money for the Laura Crane Trust.
The event on Saturday is being held at the Brewers Fayre pub at Ainley Top from 8.30pm.
It has been organised as part of the charity's Survive and Thrive 10th anniversary appeal.
Pam Thornes, the trust's fundraising manager, said the event would include a prize for every race and promised fun and laughter for all the family.
She added: "Brewers Fayre at Ainley Top has been a constant supporter of the trust and has held a variety of fundraising events over the years, including collection boxes displayed in the bar area, collecting loose change."
More than £35,000 has been collected in pubs and businesses over the last nine years in collection boxes.
Laura died from a complex mix of four types of cancer just two weeks after her 17th birthday in May, 1996.
The trust pays for research into cancers affecting young people.
