HUDDERSFIELD businesses are being invited to reach for the skies to boost their team-building.

Courageous employees are wanted to plunge thousands of feet to raise money for the British Red Cross.

Staff will leap from moving planes and freefall for several thousand feet at 120mph by taking part in tandem skydives.

Jumpers will be fully trained on the day and will be safely harnessed to experienced instructors.

Senior fundraiser Max Newton said: “I did a tandem skydive several years ago and it is simply the most incredible and exhilarating experience I have ever had.

“I felt – and still feel – a deep bond with the people I jumped with. I don't believe any other event could bring a team of colleagues together than skydiving.”

The jumps will be at an airfield in Brigg, near Hull, on June 20.
