CHILDREN who travel to school on the train are behaving better, thanks to a new scheme.
Train operator Northern Rail and Honley High School have been involved in an improvement scheme.
Measures include a code of conduct sent to homes to be signed by parents and children.
Organisers say there has been a 68% fall in reported bad behaviour since last November.
The scheme was encouraged by Kirklees Council's local area committee.
Chairman Clr Margaret Fearnley said: "This is good news and demonstrates how talking with people and working together can bring about a change for the whole community."
