CHILDREN are thought to have started a blaze in a derelict building.
They forced their way into the former carpet warehouse on Colne Road, Huddersfield, at 3pm yesterday.
The intruders had started a fire in furniture and rubbish in an office.
The blaze badly damaged the office and had to be tackled by crews wearing breathing apparatus.
They also had to dismantle part of the roof to make sure the fire was fully out.
