WITH Christmas just over four months away, Kirkwood Hospice is looking for new card designers.
They are appealing to children aged five to nine to send in their Christmas-inspired art.
The winner will feature on hundreds of cards and will also receive a reindeer pulled sleigh ride courtesy of Armitages Garden Centre on November 19.
The cards will be sent out to companies throughout Kirklees and will encourage all employees to sign the card and make a donation to Kirkwood Hospice instead of spending money on sending cards to all their colleagues.
The Share a Card competition requires all entrants to submit designs on an A4 using either paint or felt tipped pens.
Children’s names and ages should be included on the back with a parent or guardian’s phone number. All entries should be sent to Marie Peacock at Kirkwood Hospice, 21 Albany Road, Dalton, Huddersfield, HD5 9UY.
