POLICE are appealing for help to catch vandals who scrawled graffiti in a Kirklees church. The names Tabby and Bobby were painted on the walls at the Baptist church on Manor Street in Dewsbury town centre. It is thought the graffiti was daubed last Wednesday (May 11) between 5.15pm and 9.30pm. During the evening a tall, slim Asian man was seen in the church and asked one of the church choir members for a light for his cigarette. This man is urged to contact police along with anyone else who has information. Call Dewsbury police helpdesk on 01924 431059.
