A VILLAGE church will be holding its third festival of Christmas trees this weekend.

Hepworth Parish Church will be filled with a selection of trees and is expecting to attract many visitors.

On display will be a large selection of decorated Christmas trees, real and artificial and traditional and modern.

They will be sponsored by local groups and individuals.

At previous festivals, the badminton club decorated a tree with shuttlecocks, the drama society used stage props, a computer firm covered a tree in the Apple logo and the church treasurer decorated a tree with chocolate money.

A programme of musical entertainment will run on both weekend days.

The festival is on Saturday, December 11, (10am to 4pm) and Sunday, December 12, (11am to 4pm). Entry: £1 adults, 50p children.
