BRADFORD was falling silent today in memory of Pc Sharon Beshenivsky, who was gunned down in the city a week ago.
A two-minute silence was taking place at 3.30pm to coincide with the time the 38-year-old mother-of-three was murdered and her colleague Pc Teresa Milburn was seriously injured last Friday.
The event in Centenary Square was preceded by a short service.
But it is understood Pc Beshenivsky's immediate family will not be at the service, nor will Pc Milburn, who is recovering from her injuries at home.
