Clay Pigeon shooters raise cash for air ambulance

CLAY pigeon shooters from Gawthorpe Club raised £575 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

The event was organised by David Jessop, from Yorkshire Air Ambulance, with the help of regular shooters Mick Gatenbey and Len Mellor.

Sponsors for the event included Paxman Landscapes and Debrier Foods.

The event was held at Lacelles Hall Cricket Club and helpers on the day included staff and wives from Gawthorpe Club.
