A RESTAURANT boss has hit back at rumours the business is closing.
Mr Malcolm Tok, who runs the Jumbo Chinese restaurant at John William Street in Huddersfield, said a number of customers had asked him why he was shutting down.
"We have no intention of closing," said Mr Tok.
"Since we opened last year we have been very busy and we are delighted to be in Huddersfield. There are no problems at all."
Some of the rumours have centred on alleged complaints about the restaurant kitchens but Kirklees Council's environmental services said they had no concerns at all about the business.
