A SHOP has donated £2,500 to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The independent Wooldale Co-operative Society raised the money for its charity of the year during a series of fundraisers.
Shirley Bly, who leads the board committee allocating donations, said: “The Society would welcome suggestions from customers regarding other local good causes that they would like us to support.”
Wooldale Society’s AGM is open to members on Friday, May 20, at Wooldale Community Centre at 7pm.
