LEARNER drivers were held up by this month’s cold snap.
Some 266 practical tests were cancelled at Huddersfield test centre, Waverley Road, between February 2 and February 11 because of snow and ice.
While qualified drivers were left snowbound, 266 learners will have to wait another six weeks for a chance to ditch the L-plates.
A spokesman for the Driving Standards Agency said affected candidates would have a new appointment booked automatically.
The DSA added no one sitting their practical after February 11 would be affected.
