THE former boss of a community organisation, who was arrested after it collapsed, has answered police bail.

Carl Hayes was questioned by police last October after the Kirklees Equality and Human Rights Agency went bust.

The organisation folded when Kirklees Council withdrew its £100,000-a-year funding pending financial investigations.

Mr Hayes, 38, was bailed pending further enquiries at the time. He answered bail again on Wednesday and was rebailed.

KEHRA, which was based on John William Street in Huddersfield town centre, had 500 members when it collapsed.
