WE want to talk to these three people in connection with the theft of an elderly shopper’s purse.

The two men and a woman may be able to help us with our enquiries into the incident at the Co-op on Westbourne Road in Marsh.

At about 12.30pm on January 12, the 73-year-old woman was in the shop when she was approached by three people.

The woman struck up a conversation with her before all three left the shop.

When they had gone, the woman realised her purse had been taken from her handbag, which was in her trolley.

The woman suspect is described as white, aged 18 to 20, with mousey brown hair that was tied up in a pony tail.

She was wearing a dark blue, bomber jacket and spoke with an eastern European accent.

Both men were aged about 20.

One was white, well built with dark hair and was wearing a white and grey jacket and blue jeans.

The second was mixed race, slim and wearing a white top and jeans.

The victim’s purse contained a small amount of cash and other personal items.

If you know all or any of the trio, please call police on 0845 6060606 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
