DO you recognise these two young men?

We want to talk to them in connection with the theft of a laptop computer from a shop in Huddersfield last month.

On January 18, two youths walked into hire purchase store Perfect Home, on New Street in the town centre.

They walked over to the home entertainment section where the electrical products are displayed.

Each product is alarmed and has its own security lock.

The men picked up a red Dell 200 laptop, causing the alarm to go off.

Staff told them to leave, realising that one of them had a black eye as they did so.

Three days later, two men entered the store and were seen on CCTV walking directly over to the same home entertainment section.

One of them, who had a black eye, reached up to the same laptop and tugged at the security lead.

The laptop came free and both men walked off.

As they left the store, the man with the black eye started to put the item under his jacket.

A witness saw what was going on and alerted the shop manager.

Staff then chased the two men, who had run up the alleyway by the Bright House shop leading to Albion Street, but they got away.

The one with the black eye was described as being about 5ft 7ins tall, of medium build and with short brown hair.

He was clean shaven and was wearing a grey hooded jacket and black jeans.

The second suspect was of a similar build but with close cropped hair and was possibly wearing a cream top.

It is nearly two months since this incident happened and we are keen to track down the two men pictured to further our enquiries.
